Electoral Reform Services (ERSL) was founded by the Electoral Reform Society in 1988 to meet the growing demand for advice and services in the conduct of ballots.As well as market research and membership services, it helps organisations of all sorts to conduct their elections and ballots in a manner that is fair, independent and transparent. The company used to be called Electoral Reform Ballot Services (ERBS).
Electoral Reform Services has conducted ballots for a large number of Private firms, charities and public bodies including:
- Law Society
- Police Federation
- General Medical Council
- United Nations
- Inland Revenue
- House of Lords
- Trade Unions such as the TGWU, Unison, GMB, NUT and RMT
- Charities such as the RSPCA and Royal British Legion
- Local Councils including Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Sheffield
ERSL also carries out the Council Elections for the Electoral Reform Society.
